Strange, mid-late 20's, g*th type. Most assuredly female. Answers to the name of Binkey - no, not the horse... different back-story entirely. No kiddies, serious commitments or criminal record. I tend to live in my own little bubble of my own doing most of the time because most everyday things bore me or I am unable to relate to. Every day I seem to pick up more unusual habits and pass-times that amuse me and myself alone, but it's not a cause for concern [not yet at least]. I like good conversations, great tea and odd things that I deem to be 'cute'. I adore people that are genuinely fantastic and not out to overtly impress people with image or status. If you've got the bravado to stand up and do your own thing regardless of what other people think then prepare for me to be suitably impressed :o) However cross the line into arrogance, narcissism and condescension, I won't stand around feigning interest for long.

I appear to have developed a penchant for joining a lot of online communities, forums and alike over the years. So you're more than likely to come across my ramblings and moosh on some other site at some point [half of them I joined, didn't like and haven't got around to deleting yet]. And if you have contacted me elsewhere and I haven't replied, the chances are I’ve missed your message or don't use that site >_< I occasionally can be spotted out and about at pubs and clubs... though this has been less of a priority of late. I'm usually the noise, giggling and squeaking in the background at any night as opposed to the person everybody flocks around or pays attention to - which is fine by me as it leaves me more opportunities to act like a complete idiot without the pressure of thinking I register in anyone’s peripheral vision ;o) Even less frequently than this I can be found at gigs and Whitby [more is the pity]. On a daily basis I'm normally transfixed with mouse in hand, eyes red raw, looking at junk online for probably longer than is healthy.

Musical tastes... random as my thought processes. Mainly Trad, Batcave, Deathrock, Post-Punk, Positve Punk, legitimate Punk [ie. not Greenday and toss like that]. Other genres can be enquired into as and when. And I am quite silly at times with music... for example I'll quite happily stick the Thomas the Tank Engine/Danger Mouse theme/parody songs etc between Siouxsie and FOTN. So there. Entertainment... I don't 'do' most modern genres of movie. I don't like shelling out cash for 2 hours of drivel and being unable to maintain my nicotine cravings during the process. So, when the mood strikes, it's sit at home watching lots of 80's kids movies, B-movies, Hammer Horror, black and white 'horror' as well as hoping and praying that something decent will appear in the Art-house, Foreign, 'Offbeat' and/or Independent genre sections in the rental shop. Still waiting for the day all four turn up in one movie *and* that was bearable to watch ;o) I like to read and prefer that over watching television any day. I'm open to suggestions for new stuff to try as I seemed to have developed a liking for all things Irvine Welsh for some unknown reason. Must try to break out of this sometime soon.

I like arts, crafts, fake hair jiggery-pokery, customising/making clothes, make-up artistry plus a plethora of other typical alt.hobbies. Writing is included in that although it's limited to two genres: pervy or poncy [i.e. erotica or poetry]. Needless to say it's not that great but I give it a go when I have time to do so.

As you can see I'm talkative and inclined to use inappropriately long phrases and descriptive words where something shorter would suffice and be more than adequate! I'm not the sharpest tool in the box compared to some of the people in the g*th subculture, but I will always try to rise to a good bit of banter if challenged. Strangely despite my talkative nature and subject matter I'm happy to dip in and out of, I'm really shy... painfully so to the point of where it makes me *physically* awkward and stumbling with my words if I drop the front I put up for a single second. Hopefully when I get to my thirties I'll be a lot more comfortable with myself and outgoing in general than I was/am/have been in my teens and twenties *sigh*.

That pretty much covers it.

I'm on here because I'd like to meet some like minded people and hopefully start going out again in the future. All offers of club-based, pub-based and cafe-based merriment will be considered ;o) :o) If you feel like saying hello please do so as I'm not a mind reader! [would be damn handy if I was though]. However saying that my attention span is rather hit and miss at the best of times, so it may be a while before I sign in again... it may be not. Who knows?!
